The Showcase-Freewrite Prize Showcase January issue will run as usual with the addition of a publishing prize. Showcase will select 1 flash prose piece and 1 poem (see details below for page limits). One prose piece and one poetry piece will be announced as the Freewrite prize winners. They will receive double our standard honorarium ($100), publication, a publicity campaign across literary ad networks and social media, and a Freewrite Traveler portable digital typewriter ($600 value).
We're very sorry. We capped the submission pool at 100, which has been reached. We've now taken down the category, but thank you for your interest. Please read Showcase and you can also submit to our February issue for free. Many thanks!
I have a 4-page prose piece to enter for the freewrite prize. Deadline is tonight! According to the rules, "prose writers may submit up to 6 pages; however, no individual piece may be more than two pages."
Thank you so much, but I sorted it out. I was able to find three short pieces in my work, to submit, rather than the one I was asking about. You're very kind.
Hi there
Although the deadline has been extended to the 15th January, it's not currently possible to submit via Submittable. Could I submit via email instead?

What?? I'm sorry, but this doesn't make sense.
We do not accept 4-page pieces. What the instructions mean is that each piece can be maximally 2 pages, but you can submit 3 of them.
In this instance, we'll accept your 4-page piece as a courtesy.
